Yesterday Athena was talking to me and she asked me a question about Adam and Even. I said, "What are you talking about? Who is Adam and Even?"
Her: "You know, Adam and Even."
Me: "No, I don't know Adam and Even."
Her: "MOM! You know who I'm talking about. Adam and Even!"
I couldn't help but laugh, which made her start to get a little more frustrated. I said, "It's NOT Adam and Even." Continuing on, Athena said, "Uuuugh! You know what I mean. Then Adam and Eden!"
Then I really started laughing. I knew she was getting so frustrated at my enjoyment of the conversation, but I couldn't keep it in. I finally told her - it's Adam and EVE, and they lived in the Garden of Eden.
She got a sheepish look on her face and then she started laughing too.

It makes me wonder what our kids hear. That is great
It's too bad they didn't name one of their kids Odd. It would've been perfect. That's funny!

Just catching up on your recent posts from your whole Yellowstone sabbatical...
We've had the problem with Eve and Eden too. They're just too dang close.
Saw your kids walking the dog. Holy mini! Then after they all turned the corner came little Alexandra half a block behind. She was so cute trying to keep up.
That is great!! I love kids!
