Random Thoughts

I realize that I haven't posted anything to my blog for quite a while. This week has been quite busy - I've been doing a lot of indexing. For some reason I just decided to pour a bunch of time into it. I am happy with indexing - I've finally completed over 5000 names. :)

This morning Nathan decided to get into my cupboard by the stove. Inside he found FOOD COLORING! What a treat for him. He painted the countertop green, spilled green on the floor, and all the way down the front of the cupboard. Thanks for that. Now his hands and mine are stained green and yellow. I feel like a leprechaun. You can see my little monster to the left.

We have also been spending a couple days a week at Jumpin Jacks. I took some cute pictures there that I'll post later. This is Nathan's new favorite place and I like it because he can get out some of his endless boy energy. He loves to jump and run and run and jump and keep jumping and slide and fall and get up again and jump and run. We are going there again this afternoon, so I'll post some fun stuff.

Also, I didn't ever hear back from anyone about my maternity clothes. Should I just throw them out?

I love indexing, too! I kind of took a break over the holidays, but I've been working on it quite a bit lately. I'm not quite to where you are, though...I think I'm at just over 3000 names so far. A lot of those were really hard going--handwritten census records that took forever! Those are more fun, but they really are time-consuming. Anyway, I'm glad you are doing it and enjoy it as much as I do!

Where is Jumpin' Jacks? Sounds like a perfect place for Catherine in the wintertime, too.

I'd take your maternity clothes if I had any hope of being pregnant ever...I'd like to take them anyway, just 'cuz they'd probably fit me and I'm sure they're cute, but I think that's just a little bit too sad. Thanks anyway, though!

I doubt your maternity clothes would fit me. You are shorter than me.

I wish Hannah has just gotten food color today. Brett and I went to Lowe's to get supplies to build a pantry where the kitchen desk has been. When I got home there was the strong smell of nail polish to greet me as I walked in the door. I found it on the carpet under and around the piano. AAAARGH!!! So much for the kids watching her.

That is so frustrating!!! Were you able to get it out?

Your maternity clothes would be too small for me. Unfortunately, I'm too darn big now. :( I'm working on that though. I wish I could fit into your maternity clothes because they are probably really cute. Oh well.

I have 2 boys with endless energy too! I am going to work on taking Marshall swimming more now that I have my walking boot off.
