Last Day at Disneyland

Here are our final pictures of Disneyland. Our last day there was on Thursday. We finally managed to get a family picture at the entrance after talking about it for 3 days.
Early in the day Jeremy and I split up with the kids. I took the 2 little kids and Jeremy took the 2 older girls to ride big rides. I quite enjoyed spending some extra time with Nathan doing just what he wanted to do. We rode Casey Jr (the train with music) twice in a row. Then I took him to the teacups. After that we rode a bunch of the little kid rides like Snow White and Wild Toad together. Nathan was beaming that we got to ride so many little rides together. It was like a little date for the 3 of us.

I picked this spot to sit and eat our snacks for the morning. See the piano behind us? That man was playing ragtime music - which I love! I enjoyed sitting and listening and just taking a minute to not be walking. It was very nice.

We spent most of our last day in California Adventure. Athena was really happy that we got a picture will Belle. This is her favorite princess.

We also watched Aladdin in the Aladdin theater on this day. It is such a fun production to see! All the kids really enjoyed it and I was extra surprised at how much Nathan enjoyed the whole thing. He sat and watched for the straight 45 minutes without even a fuss. Athena and Samantha's eyes were so wide for the production. They don't very often get to see live theater, especially a production like THAT. I'm so glad we took them to see Aladdin.

Athena and Samantha also survived riding the Hollywood Tower of Terror. We just had a lot of fun riding rides and leisurely going through the park. It was a lot different than the first 2 days when we raced from here to there.

Here we are with Sully from Monsters, Inc. What a grand costume! I want one of those.

Athena and Samantha also LOVED this roller coaster. Samantha and I are sitting in the 2nd row getting ready to take off.

In the afternoon Cynthia, Callie, and Hannah came and met up with us for the evening. I'm glad they came to be with us, I enjoyed the company. Overall, I'd say our Disney experience has been a success for this year. I look forward to the next time we go.
